He played and contributed, but Nowakowski stole the show last year at tight end.

What I find interesting about that is that I am on college football forums daily (often hourly), watch any number of podcasts on college football in a week, and read all kinds of articles on college football, and completely missed that they had changed that. I don't know how that was possible.

Not sure where you're at there. If any of the above mentioned players were to return, I would think it would be as scholarship players. Therefore there has to be scholarship open. That has to do with the 85 scholarship limit, not the full roster limit. Doesn't matter if we have 3 walkon spots if the guy isn't a walkon candidate, and I would assume neither Daley, Staes or Wyatt is.
-
Yes, I understand the walkons and 105 roster limiy, but I'm guessing none of those players are coming back as walkons. So it was trying to figure out if there was a scholarship available. Looks like there is 1.
-
Stephens is a walkon.
-
Tristan Abrams left the team in late June or early July, although he just publicly announced it. They were at 85 before he left. If Stephens is a scholarship player, and he may not be, then they are back at 85.
-
I don't think any. Iosua Stephens joined the team about 6 weeks ago and I think he is scholarship although that might be incorrect. I believe that has us at 85.

#1 INDIANA FOOTBALL 2025 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS
HoosierReb01 replied to Hovadipo's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
The Oregon game was when I shelled out for B1G championship tickets. Money well spent. -
Yeah, the whining from the SEC is just juvenile. Quit crying about the strength of the SEC and how you beat each other up. Show up and win the CFP and bowl games and we'll talk. I don't care that you have a depleted team because you have players transferring out or sitting out for the draft. All that means to me is that you either recruited the wrong guys or failed to structure the terms of the rev share/NIL paperwork so that it costs too much to crap out on your team. Quit crying and win the games.
-
And without a doubt I can listen to that over and over again.
-
I will be having to give some of these on your lists a listen too. Some in here I've never heard of.

I tend to move from one style of music to another with a lot of weird mixes. I can't say I love opera, but I have a great appreciation for the vocal talents there. I can pop up the video of Pavarotti singing Nessun Dorma in Dodger Stadium and just watch it repeatedly. But I might be listening to Willie, Motown, R&B, bluegrass or just about anything else a hour later. Have a ton of opera records left to us by my uncle. He was a professional singer and loved opera.

I tend to do a lot of greatest hits albums but I'll give this a shot. Numbered but also not ranked or ordered. 1. Live 2 Five - Nitty Gritty Dirt Band 2. For The Record - Alabama 3. Confederate Railroad - Greatest Hits 4. Ellis Island - The Irish Tenors 5. Their Greatest Hits - The Eagles 6. Stars: The Best of 1992-2002 - The Cranberries 7. The Three Tenors in Concert 1994 - Carreras, Pavarotti and Domingo 8. Les Misérables: The Dream Cast in Concert 9. Greatest Hits(All 3) - The Oak Ridge Boys 10. Chronicle: The 20 Greatest Hits - CCR

(2028) QB Lukas Prock to Indiana
HoosierReb01 replied to Lebowski's topic in Indiana Football Recruiting Forum
Well, he hadn't planned on committing this early, but schools are really pushing to get their QB in the fold early and build a class around him. Same with Purcell in the current class. Lukas realized recently that spots were already starting to get filled and if he wanted his choice of schools he was going to have to move his timeline up. -

Pretty typical. TJ Lewis, RB out of Bolingbrook is listed at 6'0", 215 lbs, but got to his Illini visit and apparently came in at 5'9, 235lbs. -

Yes, I have seen today mentioned a few times in the last week, but I don't think there is any expectation that will happen. Probably looking at next week at this point. -

And when Sark fails to produce a Natty with very expensive rosters, he may not be there for Sales college career anyway. -
(2027) WR Monshun Sales to INDIANA
HoosierReb01 replied to Lebowski's topic in Indiana Football Recruiting Forum
I don't think I would say that the problem was that IU didn't have the money for some of them, but that CCC didn't see the value in spending it there. You get a great RB on a OV, but he wants so much money you can go get a plug and play guy from the portal for the same price. Which do you do? Smart money's probably on the portal. MSU may have dropped a bag on Caleb Johnson, but the rumor seems to have just been speculative. Every time a kid commits somewhere that is unexpected, there are posts on boards about how he must have got a bag dropped on him. Not saying it isn't true in Caleb's case, or in quite a few other players cases. -

Bryant Haines sure does love his linebackers, and he surely knows how to pick them. -
