His agents job is to get him the best deal.   Need to give it a minute to make sure nobody comes in with a crazy offer.  Sounds like IU has the best offer and they cancelled the visit that was set up after.  Seems like IU is in a great position but at the end of the day money talks.

Rancik can shoot. And to be honest, Reed Bailey with a jump shot would have made a pretty useful Big Ten 4 man.

There still has to be an element of "who can you get" .... I can see Rancik isn't perfect, but he's damn tall... for sure skilled, played in a P5 conference before and has 2 years left.

....I know those were Rancik's highlights, but he just looks so comfortable, agressive with good court awareness. He just looks like he's ready to score and plays confident.

Same. He took like 60-80 per year before he got to IU. For us he took a whopping 4. Made no sense.

Hard to say, but I'd guess 6'9" is more accurate. His CU team-mate Dak is listed as 7' and he is clearly more than an inch shorter than him in that highlight vid.

I’d be surprised if Sherrell doesn’t make an announcement today. Last week, he pushed back at The Field of 68 after they reported he was seeking $4M. If he delays much longer, it risks reinforcing their narrative that money is the main factor.

That was always my question with Bailey. He just seemed like he completely lost his confidence.

He's big enough for his position either way. Solid rebounding numbers in the Big 12. Hopefully his 3PT% keeps improving a bit, but otherwise this is the type of player I want at the 4.
