I'm with you. Not a fan of being single threaded at any spot. Also, don't want your back-up at one position to be the starter at another (Sherrell for Samet) So get a competent back-up PG, Solid wing starter and competent Back-up Center and you have a VERY well-rounded, deep capable team.

Hard to say, but I'd guess 6'9" is more accurate. His CU team-mate Dak is listed as 7' and he is clearly more than an inch shorter than him in that highlight vid.

That is my concern. If he's replacing Miles? Ok, I can get on board with that. If he's supposed to replace Wilkerson though? I have my doubts. He's a Hoosier now, so I'm behind him, but I'm hoping for another big SG signee.

I have no doubt why he wanted to come, not convinced he's who IU should have pulled though. He feels like a reach...but that has been decided. Hoping he proves me wrong, but will feel a LOT better if IU gets someone else that can play the 2 in case he flames out.

Guess is all we can do, isn't it? I'm not trying to be argumentative, but in 2 yrs of college, he's been bad (see stats above.) The narrative is because he was buried behind NBA talent and didn't get his turn. Ok, all I am saying is while that might be true, that is projection. Harris has actually done jack squat in 2 seasons, whatever the reason. So annointing him as IU's starting SG seems wildly optimistic. I'd prefer someone that has actually done it in college, even at a lower level (a la Brumbaugh) than someone that hasn't done anything since HS 3yrs ago.

Not according to what they've actually done in college. But I guess he was good in HS, so potential. Someone has to be the 4th guard in the rotation, I suppose. I'd prefer those mins go to Moody, but all still conjecture at this point.

No idea who Colby is, but he's asking us to believe Scheyer didn't utilize Harris' incredible shooting because "the situation at Duke"? Sure, there are all kinds of possibiities for why that could happen, but count me as skeptical. Is he better than Jasai Miles?

Budd Clark I get he's a coach's kid...but he's under-sized, a terrible 3pt shooter and only has one year of eligibility left. Not a lot to like here, even for a back-up PG.
