To be fair Indiana is not in the same breath as those schools in today’s college basketball landscape. This has been the status quo at Indiana for 25 years or so. They could be if they got serious…

I don’t disagree. But the IU administration’s expectations are the only reason it’s not a fireable offense. NCAA tournament appearances should be the bare minimum at IU, not gold stars that get you a million dollar raise. Mike Davis got fired right after making the round of 32.

Which Indiana isn't and aren't showing any signs of.

Short of a total meltdown, or burning an orphanage on Christmas eve, the clowns in charge will use every excuse to protect their friend again next season.

1 tournament win in three years and a 31-29 conference record is 100% fireable at a real basketball school. You think you’re getting a fourth year at Duke, kansas, etc. with that?
Nope you are not but this is iu chill per cool dude leal.

Of course Margot would have to ask Mike Woodson for the date.

She would have to go to Mike Woodson and ask Mike Woodson for the date If he could work it in his schedule.

Absolutely baffling and laughable they are going to choose to run it back with this poop show when you have a hot commodity one of your own who is going to have his pick of jobs at the end of the season.

Don’t you think it is suggestive or odd that @JerryYeagley23 hasn’t dropped in just to say ‘Wake up’ or ‘Better shut this thread down until 2025.’ There’s only silence coming out of the places you’d expect assurance and nonsense and goonishness from the staff.

Makes me wonder.

I think Dolson is silent because he wants to make a change but doesn’t have the support.  I don’t blame him if he doesn’t say anything.  Woodson is under contract so he doesn’t have to say anything.  I actually think his silence speaks volumes that this is not what he wants.
Man is next year going to get ugly. Woodson has no idea how bad it will get. I bet he becomes unhinged as the beat downs pile up and the fans all turn on him

Are you insinuating there’s issues off the court and it’s hindering the team?

Uhhh yeah there is. X arrested twice (?), half-team broke curfew in Chicago 2023, Taco arrest, believe P Stew was in incident with X, and there’s several more that have escaped me // the common fan was never alerted to. It is verified via students that several players, including beloved Gallo, are regularly on the juice chasing women (no harm, no foul).

But these issues have been more than just during Woody. Archie had a relatively quiet 4 years w/ off court issues, but Crean had several as well. Troy Williams had a Rodman lifestyle. Emmitt Holt and Devin Davis drunkenly almost killed Davis with a car. Yogi arrest. Much more.

19-14 is not a fireable offense after back to back tourney appearances. It’s just not. Having 0 recruits coming in, getting blown out numerous numerous times, and have the overall trajectory of the program trending way down is. I’m watching Nebraska make it rain from 3 last night and Indiana going down the other end and packing it in the post for 2s and weak @$$ takes to the rim. This offensive philosophy is flawed and out dated. It’s not going to change. Mike Woodson is not going to change.

Oddly enough, I find our defensive philosophy (and that’s a generous term given what we do), worse than our offensive philosophy. And I don’t think much of the latter either.

On the other hand, 19-14 is perfectly fine to get you into the Mr. Pibb Invitational held at the Golden Nugget Casino.
