I don't think IU can offer him enough money. He's making 130K just from Monteverde. We can only imagine what type of money Nike is paying him on the side.

I think he'd be a phenomenal assistant, but nowadays assistants have to be recruiters first and foremost.  Not sure how he'd do there.

I hope we at least a little bit think outside the box and don't get hung up that it has to be someone already on board, i.e, Matta, or that it has to be another IU guy.  I'm not suggesting we totally eliminate an IU guy, but I want someone with a strong background in D1 recruiting and has some fire in the belly.

Yeah, that would be not that good. 
BBBBBuuuuuttttttt, if Woody wanted to take a look at Kevin Nickelberry, Wade’s Associate HC at LSU, I would not be opposed to such an idea. They brought him on after Wade’s suspension in part because he had a pristine rep as an HBCU head coach. He’s been their primary defensive Asst the last couple of years. Also been heavily involved with recruiting the basketball factories. Not gonna happen, but just throwin’ it out there.
