I learned today that Dane previously was an assistant for two years at IU under Mike Davis prior to taking the IPFW job. Weird.

Have to admit I wasn't excited with the Woodson hire at the beginning, but everything he (Woodson) and Dolson have done since has been impressive.  Retaining Hunter on staff, getting TJD to buy in, and now this Fife hire.  All are huge moves.

And Matta, which has gotten lost in the shuffle a bit since it was announced at the same time as Woodson. If the Matta hire happened today, people’s jaws would be dropping

IU just posted a press release on its website. 

This is from his bio ... did not know he had a graduate degree. 

He owns two degrees from Indiana, earning a bachelor's degree in recreation (2002) and a master's degree in athletic administration (2005).

Really can’t say enough how well Woody has done since he got the job. Recruiting was the #1 question for him coming in, and now we just poached a recruiter from a conference rival who has been poaching Indiana players from us for the past decade.
