Okay now that is very interesting. If you hire a guy with no college experience, hiring someone with Matta’s experience is a huge plus. I don’t even know what associate AD for men’s basketball administration is but I don’t care. Good move.

So we have a guy who has never coached college basketball or recruited

and a guy who can barely walk up stairs AND hasn't coached or recruited in 4 calendar years.......

This whole time Dolson wasn't talkign to just one guy, he was building an entire departmental overhaul for IU basketball. This sounds very exciting.

I'd be more comfortable (as if anybody gives a **** what I think) if we were able to bring in Lewis as associate head coach or top assistant. I'm know I'm preaching to the choir to many on that one ...

That helps but I’m curious if they were hell bent on an “IU guy”, then why not a younger coach like Fife or Lewis?
