Could be Buck. I honestly thought I heard he met with Brad a few years ago but not sure if they was accurate. St Elmos has a room upstairs that would have been perfect for this. I think the door is between the Bar and the cost check area.

I don't read that as Dolson being there. I read it as major boosters - which I don't think the average person would recognize.

The fact there is so much specific detail compared to the Donovan situation makes me feel this is the real deal.

Yep, I’ll admit I took the bait on Donovan (although I still think he could’ve been our coach if Glass didn’t give him a deadline) but this is way way different.

Admittedly I let myself get too excited at the thought of Donovan, though had some skepticism.  Maybe part of why I'm so hesitant now.

I think it’s worth noting IU tests people religiously especially in Athletics.  Any IU contacts that could have had met with Brad in Dec would have been fully tested and would have documentation to back it up.  So any meeting in a closed area would not have broken protocol and could have easily shown a history of negative tests.

The Donovan stuff was a campfire at most, this is a full fledged forest fire after the last 24 hours. Could still be put out, but a ton more smoke this time around.

I'm thinking and remembering that the last few coaching hires by IU involved that Indy Law firm that has specialists in the area of vetting and negotiating quietly and behind the scenes. The benefits are obvious.  The AD can say he has not met with the prospective coach.  And the prospective coach may say that he has not met with anyone from the AD's office.

Furthermore, I really do not see boosters meeting with Brad Stevens to discuss these matters. Not prior to any contract being finalized.
