I am not entirely sure that Ainge would be allowed to prevent Brad from coming to IU without an unconditional release. Going on the fly here, but I can't think of an instance of an NBA team just releasing their coach who they want to keep and is under contract, so that he could go sign with another NBA team? There’s a reason it’s called IU This always bugs me too, but has anyone ever thought how weird it is that (get ready for this doozy of a sentence) we are the only state university that puts the word "university" after the state when the word "state" is not in the university name? I.e. Every other state's universities use the naming convention of University of Michigan and Michigan State University, for example. Can't think of any other state that does it the way Indiana University does. We are special. Also, this is not for this thread. But I've already typed it. Mods should delete. I think if they really wanted they could make it annoying to leave, but they couldn’t really prevent it.
