I have a feeling that you won't hear an announcement from Indiana that a player isn't coming back.....so if Armaan or Race leave, we'll hear it first from the player themselves.

They all met with Coach Woodson yesterday afternoon one on one for the 2nd time. So he met with them last Monday, then they had all week to meet with teams, then he had the last meeting with them yesterday. That is why we heard about Lander and Jordan. They told him they were coming back in their meeting. So makes me believe we hear something today

That sounds perfectly reasonable.  They've heard what Woodson has to say and from potential destinations.  Ample tme to make a decision has been given.

Doesn't do either side any good to drag it out.  If they're coming back, Woody can start spending some time evaluating the '22 and '23 classes.  If they're not, he focuses on filling out his roster for the upcoming season through the portal.

Thanks for sharing. It's the best interest for both parties to decide sooner than later. What we need is a strong unit that fully buys in what CMW wants to do.

Franklin- Stays. I think our chance increases with Johnson if Franklin leaves. If Franklin stays, I'm not sure.

@Chris007 any insight on what led Geronimo to decide to stay at IU? I'm just curious how Coach Woodson convinced him to stay when it sounded like he was as good as gone based on his parents' comments.

It could be friendship with his teammates or the relationship with CMW and his play style.

I think that his parents wanted him closer to home but not sure Jordan wanted that. He then has a veteran NBA coach come in with an offense that he is perfect for, so where is he going to go to have that. Now I can't wait to see what kind of jump he makes from freshman to Sophomore.

I’ve often said that our guys never developed after getting here. Hopefully we see a big Sophomore jump from everybody

Jordan having an Oladipo summer would be ideal. He has the size and jumps to play in the league, he has nice length. He's a good athlete. 

If he can improve his offensive ability then he might have a chance to make it to the league. I'm sure that was part of Woody's meeting with him.

I would think that the script was similar to what we know of Woody's meeting with TJD. They all have NBA dreams, and Woody can break down their games and give them a plan to improve in order to get drafted. I was worried that kids wouldn't want to hear that, especially when other coaches just promise them the world but apparently, some are open to that type of constructive criticism.

He liked Woodsons plan for him and after the meeting he convinced his mom this was the right move for him

Good for him. IU was always far away from home-that didn't change over night. It should be about what he wants, not mommy and daddy.
