The crazier thing is that keeping Archie around would have been even worse. Indiana fans are actually paying attention to being involved at the moment. Archie already murdered the brand. I know everyone wants to be all "professional" and "nice" with him leaving, but he was absolutely awful in every aspect. He very literally killed the brand of Indiana basketball in just 4 years. There was no option of keeping him unless everyone was just accepting that Indiana basketball should suck. 

PS: Stevens is NEVER coming to IU. Indiana had a window and passed on it. Move on. We need to go after Oats and Shaka.

Shaka took another job about an hour ago. He's off the board. So now we need to find someone to come up with 12 million to buy out Oats, then we can only offer 3.5 million in salary so we will need another donor to add money so we can pay him a proper salary. Sounds easy.

I haven't been paying attention to the news. But that sucks. Always liked Shaka.

Peegs said today that there is chatter that IU may pull a rabbit out of the hat and people will be very surprised at who it is. This chatter started circulating within the last 24-48 hours fwiw.

Also heard about another potential coach who Scott was interested in.. I'll have to double check on that. Very unusual place. Be back in a few hours, gotta run some errands!

If Dakich knows anything, it did not come from Dolson.

He was bashing the NBA repeatedly.  Basically said it's unwatchable and the players are almost all selfish.  I'd bet the farm that Dakich would be willing to do cartwheels butt naked down Kirkwood if we landed Brad. I just don't think he ever thought BS was realistic.
