He isn't. I have no issues with Drew, but saying any human is only worth sticking up for if they offer you value is pretty f'ed up. JStreetBumpin15, JustWinBaby, go iu bb and 13 others 13 3

Stu posted a video a couple of weeks back from some Baylor folks that stated that Drew had to raise money to finish his roster and was pretty unhappy about it. That was the 1st time I thought Drew might be possible. Yes, and add to the fact that one of these days soon, there will be two super conferences. Anyone outside of those two conferences will be at a huge disadvantage. Just my opinion, but I could see it heading this way. Pagoda, Hoosier Roots and Jam 3

Popular Post Ctf9 Posted March 4 Popular Post Posted March 4 I feel like the religion thing is going to spiral since religion (and especially evangelical Christianity) is politically coded these days. That said, I haven’t seen anyone on here be anti-religious. Stevens is very outspoken about his faith; so is the coach he hired for the Celtics. No one holds this against Stevens. But Drew is a different kind of Christian—one who sees the influence of God in every single part of his life (and also tries to serve God in every single part). It’s worth being honest about the different kinds of religion and how Drew’s is much more extreme than what most Americans practice. Popular Post spe317 Posted March 4 Popular Post Posted March 4 I think the religious aspect is more the “institutional” perspective than personal. Agree or disagree with his beliefs, blurring the lines of personal belief and team dynamics is a risk that IU institutionally may not wish to take. Brain power and a non-bias mind are not among BBN's strong suits Haha — that’s funny. As we know UK put a full court press on him for like five days. Mitch Barnhart was leveraging his relationship with Drew, they flew his family out to Lexington, and when UK fans found out he was at some Mexican restaurant in Waco they all started calling the restaurant. I do worry about getting him after he turned UK down, as we know he and his family and his program and pretty woven into the religious aspects of Baylor. They have a big house and a lot of family down there. But who knows? $2M+ per year for your roster at IU is pretty darn appealing and he knows Indiana. JPCIVOP 1
