OKHOOSIER Posted March 3 Posted March 3 FWIW Brownell signed an extension last summer, he makes 3.5 with set raises. I seriously doubt we would give someone like BB a raise to leave. His current contract would have him in the upper half of the B1G as it stands. My guess is he is angling for more NIL funding for his program, not any actual desire to leave. He has minimal pressure, Clemson is an absolutely gorgeous area to live with extremely low cost of living and nice lakes, nice weather, and has decent support for a non-basketball school. The Clemson campus reminds me of Bloomington more than any campus I have visited, but with the added advantage of mountains and mild winter. Great little town. I love Btown, and there are almost no college towns I would put ahead of it but Clemson is one of them in terms of livability.
