For real man - give it up and stop digging regarding Brad. That’s all anyone wants. As I said from the beginning, I know unequivocally that Brad was not interested in the job. But even for those who never believed me, it should be very obvious in light of the totality of what is out here and the way the story has changed that you were either lying or being lied to and believing the wrong people. I believe it’s the latter because I choose to assume good faith. But it’s one or the other, without question.

Truly embarrasses me every time. The whole idea that someone who leads the most important organization and basketball and is already a super fan of a different college program and went to college at a different school but still somehow wants to leave his job and move his family to coach at some place because he used to go to games there as a kid???? It’s just so preposterous and national media rightly chastises the fan base for it.

No. I’m saying you can’t simultaneously argue that the reason there are no leaks is because the NDAs are likely ironclad but then also imply you’re somehow in the know.

He’s insisted or at least implied dozens of times in this thread that he is hearing Stevens chatter. And then he insists there are rock solid NDAs preventing leaks. Which is it? The Stevens stuff is looney tune world. Always has been. In McCollum we trust.

Have reviewed approx 1000 NDAs and have never once seen a liquidated damages clause like that. The irony is you’re telling us everyone involved has an NDAs that would close millions to violate and that’s why there are no Stevens leaks but also insisting you somehow are in the know despite this. Put two and two together everyone.

He’s a phenomenal coach and an A+ hire from a basketball perspective. He is also very much not the guy I’d prefer to be the face of the school.

Hiring a guy with just three top 25 teams in 23 years as a D1 head coach - and zero top 15 teams - over a sky-high-upside candidate like McCollum, simply because it feels “safer,” would be so ****** stupid.

Look, I don’t like Goodman any more than the next guy, probably less. But he would not put that out there unless he was certain. I’m maybe a tad surprised TJ is out already, but otherwise, none of these eliminations should be unexpected to any fan thinking dispassionately about the job.

Providing fair and reasonable context around something you assert is a “positive” is not unfairly “discounting it” just because it undermines your assertion.
