21 would be what he averaged the first three season.  Can't really add in the current year until it's done.

He also averaged 13.3 losses.   He has a 61% winning percentage despite having one of the biggest NIL treasure troves in the game.  But self-actualization was never his strong suit.

It wouldn't surprise me if he thinks that squeaking into the tournament gives him the political capital to force Dolson to keep him or fire him. it also wouldn't be surprising to find out that he doesn't realize that the whole forced retirement thing was a way for him, Woodson, to save face. He'd be wrong, of course. He is not going to be IU's coach after this season regardless but Dolson went the route that let Woodson save face. All Dolson would have to do would be to say sorry, but we've already moved on and too many resources have already been put into the coaching search.

He could. And if IU didn’t get this ironclad, they would deserve the controversy. But not gonna happen. Shirley, IU isn’t that incompetent.

I hope not.  We have a top 2 roster in the Big Ten.  Rallying the last month to finish in the middle of the pack in the Big Ten and squeaking into the Tournament just solidifies his moniker Mediocre Mike.
