I am way behind on catching up for the day, but I haven’t seen Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid mentioned. THE OP mentioned Ben McCollum and the Sundance Kid. But yes that would have been an egregious omission.

However, he’s getting paid millions of dollars for a cushy office job with very little pressure where he simply has to sit in an office all day, make phone calls, and go watch basketball games. He likely knows he might be happier here but at the same time what if it doesn’t go as planned. He could be making a big mistake. I think he’s just very comfortable where he’s at and that’s why he won’t do it. If it doesn’t go as planned, he can do whatever he wants to do because he’ll be a gazillionair.
DSUMMITT Posted February 26 Posted February 26 what gives me hope? Early retirement push is working perfectly. It's letting fans on both sides just cheer. Team seems motivated at a level they haven't been IMHO. And ultimately it makes a good story. Ex star player trying to ride off on a win. No matter how it really happened in reality - the story is a good one. Reason l mention this as I watch Peacock pregame they spent a lot of positive time on IUs chances for tournament. As long as SD is allowed to do his job, I've been impressed with his choices. I'll be very surprised if we aren't happy going into the off season. lillurk 1

Ludicrous. Brad had absolutely zero reason to put that statement out other than to shut this down early to avoid the onslaught of requests for comment. Reminder… Thread is hard to keep up with but are we really doing the Brad thing again?

Better question: why do people only entertain insider info if it aligns with what they wish to be true. I’m *telling* you people he is not going to be the coach at Indiana.
