Cronin would be in the next group, although personally I would much rather have gates at Missouri then Cronin. Cronins attitude i think would wear thin if there was even a little bit of struggle although I do think he would be solid, but I would also prefer Collins to Cronin as well Edit: i didn't mention mccollum, byington, devries because I don't know how viable they are or if they would even want the job. Out of the three maybe byington since cignetti is already here but maybe mccollum holds out for Iowa and maybe devries doesn't like the midwest. I have watched more basketball than most people on this board besides OldFart and a few others. This guy has coached in D1 less than 1 year. There is a major difference between D1 and D2. The program is at the point where we can’t base it off of a possible what if, they need a guarantee winner from D1. I am not saying 4 or 5 years from now that he wouldn’t work out but IU just can’t and shouldn’t take that chance. lillurk 1
