@Scotty R, I've always respected you as a poster, because you fit the archetype of IU fan who really wishes it was still 1990 and I have a soft spot for those fans, but this is some pretty shameful sh*t. Did you really think nobody over here would see this? Be better.

I couldn't care less if you anyone found out about that post because I posted pretty much the same thing in this board yesterday

Beard lost again to his cross state rival. That’s 6/7 losses in that rivalry game for him (according to cbs). Can’t be losing to your in state rival like that. Those are Archie numbers!

I checked out an Ole Miss forum and some were saying he has already gone to Indiana in his mind! LOL!

I just got off the phone with a source that is very high up in the IU administration (initials are PW but that’s the only hint I’m giving). This anonymous person said that Brad is actually waiting until the Celtics find out which seed they’ll be in the playoffs, and then he’ll sign the contract. They also said that Goodman is being paid to be a smokescreen because they’re nervous about Shams leaking it before Woodson is gone. Something about property damage? Go Hoosiers!
Lol

FWIW Bloomington people i know that donate mid-high level think it’s May or Cronin.  But they don’t know either.  Connected to Hoosier Hysterics.

That matches what I believe which is May All Day.  Cronin fits the narrative Dolson describes.  But the fanbase will have to warm up if it goes that way. Temperature is pretty cold for Cronin.

If Cronin gets up there at the intro presser and does the “It’s Indiana” routine, he will get people on side pretty fast.  But he has to win…

I don’t ever bring it up because I don’t consider them sources, but I’ve heard the same RE: May. That it’s always been him until it isn’t, which is also why I’ve said if he doesn’t sign an extension soon, I’ll be pretty convinced that’s where this is headed. Reality is I don’t think anyone really knows what Dolson is doing except for Dolson who I trust not to Jack this up. Pretty low bar to clear after the last eight years.

Morning everyone. Just wanted to give an update. I know we all have heard a lot of bs recently so I want to make it clear that I am not guaranteeing anything.

last night there was a shift. People in my circle and people I hear things from went from confusion to all thinking a deal is in place with an announcement in march. Sometime after the regular season, maybe before the big ten tournament but probably before the ncaa tourney.

im starting to think that I jumped the gun on Friday and got a little excited and starting saying we were further along than we were, and that’s on me. If you think about it logically, why would IU announce the next head coach when ours is still coaching? Especially with how nasty woody is being behind the scenes. I do think the Goodman post was intentional to keep noise down because we have a ways to go, again i refer to nick saban saying he will never be the coach of Alabama 13 days before it was announced the coach of Alabama. Obviously if he hasn’t signed yet he could back out at anytime.

if you think I am full of it I understand, I don’t claim to be an insider, I just share things I hear from people who are usually accurate on what they say, but this is where I stand. Go Hoosiers!

There are parts I could potentially buy, like waiting until March or the NIL/assistant pool. Moving to March after saying two weeks then saying signing Monday, no. I don't buy the terms either, I can see deep pockets throwing the vault at Stevens but I don't buy the 6 years with coach's option part at all.

He would have to win Big to be worth his buyout and contract.

I just can’t see Cronin because of his buyout. Unless there is a way to reduce it.

Speaking of humps and all star games....

How about Mac McClung dunking over anything he wanted last night. Definitely could have made it over the hump. Off topic, sorry. But dang.

Why they still let them dunk over cars or other things is beyond me.
