Out of curiosity, What does All Star weekend have to do with Brad Stevens and him taking another job? If anything, it would give his front office some time to get their house in order and promote an interim replacement.

Maybe the guy knows deep down he just doesn’t have the passion needed to coach at Indiana? If rumors are true and he was offered nearly $100M to coach at IU and he didn’t jump at the chance, I wouldn’t want him. I want someone that really wants the job and is excited for the opportunity!

For what we'd have to pay to get Cronin, we'd be better off aiming higher. 

We are aiming higher I think. I think he is a if we strike out hire guy. I'd take him over bronwell in a second.

I don’t know. Last time I asked if he had signed was 3:30 and was told we were sending it to him but he wasn’t going to worry about it till Monday

This program is in an incredibly dire need of major boost. My opinion is a candidate like Cronin doesn’t even come close to providing that shot of energy and enthusiasm. 

I'm saying if we strike out on stevens, may, few, etc. He is 2nd tier.

I sure hope so. We offered 9.2 million, he said 10. Scott said if I meet your counter you have to guarantee you’ll sign. He said he would guarantee it. We met every demand. 100 million up to 120 with bonuses over 10 years. This was agreed upon by everyone.

Maybe if word got out NBA all star weekend would turn into Brad and IU talk. Maybe he wanted it to stay about the NBA.
