Still hesitant because last time I was told the same thing from someone in the know it all fell through and QB swooped in and forced Woodson upon us.  Good thing is that I was told Dolson is more prepared this time to pursue other candidates in case BS doesn't happen.

Been a crazy day at work so haven't had a chance to get on here but you guys are crazy with how many pages this has jumped

Got a little update that Dolson is still fully focused on Stevens but he wants an answer within the next couple weeks.  That way he can be ready once the season ends for other current coaches to speak with them directly.

I did see how people were curious why college reporters aren't talking about BS to IU more.  A lot of what is posted on message boards is hearsay and no reporter is going to risk their reputation based on hearsay like a poster on a message board will.  

Also when BS does get announced, don't expect it to come for a college bball reporter.  Expect it to be from an IU statement unless Shams gets confirmation first (which knowing him will probably happen).

I am just happy I can actually root for the team the rest of the season now that it's confirmed there is no way Woodson is back next year

I probably didn't make myself clear which is normal for me

Do I think we have talked to Brad, yes Do I think it is as close as some are making it out to be, no. Do I think he is coming, maybe.

To me if the things about the meeting with AAU coaches and what was said is true then I would think that could be validated and reported by national media

i am an IU fan. I came here to discuss different people’s feelings about what people like and don’t like about the guys being talked about as potentially being the next coach at IU

90% of this forum is Brad Stevens tin foil hat conspiracy stuff man…

As I’ve said before you have to take all of this with a grain of salt. Guys with little bits of information they’ve heard share and then they begin to feed off each other. Supposedly some of the most connected posters were telling us Billy Donovan was a done deal in town looking a horse farms. The Stevens stuff has always been crazy too. When you start hearing things from other sources then you can start thinking it may be credible.
