Goodman mentioned this yesterday. Said if we were to hire McCollum we would need to surround him with excellent assistants “if he were to make it at Indiana.”

yikes

Yikes why?  Because Goodman doesn’t know x and o’s?

If it is McCollum, I’ll just be happy to have a coach that has coached college ball before. Dude has won a lot at the D2 level and wants the challenge that is IU. I just hope in an intro press conference he quotes Cig and says “Just like the football coach here, I win - you can google me too”. Lol

Well, two things can exist at the same time. He can be an @$$ but he can also be right at the same time. lol. Personally, I listen to the guy sometimes. I don’t mind him.

Talk about entitlement though. He'd be nothing if it wasn't for IU and he acts like he knows everything. Zero respect.  A simple provocateur with very unoriginal or interesting ideas or insight. Is he still pining for an IU guy?

Yeah it’s Dolson’s fault that guy doesn’t want to coach here.

It’s literally the AD’s job to attract coaches. He has a ton of positives to sell to candidates. If the best that he can attract to IU is a D2 coach with 1 year under his belt in a mediocre mid major conference, that says a lot about his abilities. He doesn’t get any excuses this time around.

We will find out about us being a football school this year. Dolson’s career will indeed be on the line here.

Sigh. Eye roll. Yawn. As if Glass didn’t do a terrible job and get a raise.

You don’t fire Woody mid season to hire some guy D2 guy from Drake. I’ll say, my one source was someone in the athletic office. As of weeks ago, heck, even over a month ago, it was Brad. Up until about two weeks ago, it was Brad. He’s since gone eerily quiet, which I assumed was a good thing. Apparently he went quiet out of shame. If this is true, what an utter failure on Scott’s part. Brad was literally in the bag.

That’s simply not believable. Honestly, the whole squabbling over a couple million here or there or Brad trying to make up his mind for four weeks just isn’t something that makes the slightest sense.

It’s more absurd than the notion he’d actually still be Scott’s guy. It’s either done, or it was maybe a week at most of negotiation and we moved on. There is zero chance this has gone back and forth for this long with Stevens.
