  6. Which is still ridiculous. Miami getting in brought I revenue share and benefitted every ACC school. Notre Dame doesn’t share the money. Absolutely ridiculous to think the ACC wasn’t going to advocate for it full member. You don’t get all the perks of being in a conference without some of the drawbacks. Notre can go flip themselves.

  7. Michigan fans on a FB post saying “first call has to be Cignetti, we have the money for the buyout.” Absolutely delusional.

  8. I had just finished reading this and drying my eyes when I saw you'd already posted the link. What an absolutely incredible family. Regardless of how the rest of the season plays out, we've been blessed to have the Mendoza family associated with our university.

  9. Okay, that's unreal. Anyone here who has kids....we're good parents. I know I'm a good dad and I know all of you are. But that's the bar. No wonder those boys are....exactly who they are. I am without words. Thank you for posting. Anyone who reads that, then compares him to Diego Pavia and HIS crazy mom yet still votes for Pavia should be immediately barred from ever discussing sports ever again.

  12. If DeBoer has any self-awareness he realizes that he's never going to be able to live up to his predecessor. He may want to get out while his stock is still high? That fan base is already not happy with him and another year like these last 2, or worse, next year and he'll likely be forced out with stock down. Being the HC at UM is one hell of a consolation if that's how you want to look at it. Idk if UM wants him or if he wants to leave Bama but I could certainly see where everyone involved could see this as a good thing.

    Stephen Daley?

The Daley jump I will always remember is the one he used to tip a pass (resulting in an IU interception) to seal the deal at Oregon. Get well big fella and Go Hoosiers !

    Stephen Daley?

I noticed that this same leg was wrapped in the video.. maybe a soreness (minor tears or stresses that got worse during the game). My opinion, the lil hop or jump was the final straw from something that was already injured. Really a shame for him and the team. Particularly after he stepped up so well for Wyatt. I hope other guys who have not played as much, can step in and fill that hole. (shifting Landino but also adding more time for NDukwe, Turvey, Depaepe, Burris, Walters?) A lot of younger guys who have been in the system for almost a year maybe be in line to help. Even with good options, we'll miss Daley's production and talent.

  23. Paul BaldTrollDumb@$$ says that he is hearing DeBoer is Michigan's top choice. Can't stand BaldTrollDumb@$$ but he does have sources everywhere, especially in the south. PS, the last name being automatically changed to BaldTrollDumb@$$ is hilarious. Reminds me of Jim having Dwight's name changed to Diapers in The Office whenever he would type it.

  27. Great article. Impossible not to root for kids like Wilkerson and Conerway. What it takes to get from where they started to where they are is just not commonly possessed. Side note: I owe Mark Pope an apology. Blew that guy 10 kinds of crap over the Keeneland thing on Wilkerson’s UK visit. Even if it didn’t work that was clearly a good call.

  30. I genuinely think if the SEC/ESPN hype machine had coalesced around Pavia a couple of weeks earlier he would have won it. But since even they think the kid is sort of slimy they couldn’t bring themselves to go there in time.

  31. IU was keeping up with UL after that 16-0 start, so I do believe they can beat UK just based on that. They just can't get off to a bad start.

  36. I'd reverse that and imagine guys from UM will want to look at us. I'm already thinking about a guy from my neck of the woods, Benny Patterson. He never received an offer from IUFB but now that he's got a full year under his belt and sporadic playing time who knows if that'll change. He'd be closer to his family. I would think he's got a pretty sweet NIL deal already so who knows. I spoke about him here and I don't think he ended up visiting that game.

  37. Right. DeBoer is hyper competitive and he's got a good team and recruits coming in and his whole system setup at a top-5 program. I doubt he's overwhelmed by the message board posters and media down there such that's he's gonna run away to UM and all the uncertainty up there. I'm sure Kalen's agent doesn't mind his name being out there, I'd guess that plus UM targeting him is what creates this story. But like you I don't think Kalen will be interested. Also UM has never pulled a big program coach before -- Rich Rod and Hoke were not, and Jim was puttering out in the NFL. Sherrone was obviously an internal hire. UM is a very good job, but something is a little off up there, sans Jim's very good three years (which they got caught cheating which cost like $30M), they've generally been disappointing given their resources for like 20 years.

    2025 IUFB Season

This entire season I've been at the mercy of the longsuffering IU Football fan PTSD; fearing the Hawkeyes were going to grind out the W. Then, Autzen stadium and their 18-game home winning streak; until Daley tipped the pass and IU came away with the pick (still, thought it was possible to piss it away). Do I even need to mention the game at Penn St.? Lastly, going into the B1G Championship I was all set to be satisfied with IU keeping the score close. I'm CURED !!! Coach Cig, this IU team, and THAT GAME have convinced me the IU football program has turned a corner that I would otherwise have thought impossible. I'm adopting the mindset of the Hoosiers; bring on the best!!! These Hoosiers are the undefeated Big Ten Champions and anything that happens from this point forward is icing on that championship cake. I plan to enjoy every IU game moving forward minus any thoughts of "what if"; instead, it's now "what, when" because I'm thinking, "What will be my drink of choice When I celebrate" IU winning The National Championship.

  39. Nope - not seeing this at all. No one is giving up the Bama job for Michigan. DeBoer won't even know who the AD is for Michigan. If and when the coverup of Moore's issues by the UM Athletic Department is revealed and the AD is fired? Yikes. And unless it's a well-sourced reporter? Any rando speculation about candidates for any job these days is likely a kid writing out of mama's basement under some website name that sounds (but isn't) legit, such as the current monetized but no longer legit "Sports Illustrated" or it's an AI-created article.

  44. The loss is currently a Q2 loss. For some fans it’s viewed as a season ending loss however in reality it’s just a Q2 loss on the road in conference. IU can only lose to certain programs for it to be an acceptable loss for some

  45. Bama is really beat up. Even if they get by OU, any more injuries in that game and they’re down to third string guys. Still probably 4-stars, but not many snaps this season.

  48. How not? Alabama and ND both finished the regular season 10-2. Alabama’s road win at Georgia was far more impressive than anything ND did this year. Also had wins against Vanderbilt, Missouri, and Tennessee. There’s a counter argument in favor of ND (I.e., they didn’t lose to anyone nearly as bad as FSU), but to say there’s “absolutely no justification” for Alabama over ND is a huge exaggeration.
