I think Vandy is shady to even be in the contest for a class like this. The only thing that keeps me from fully believing it is the fact DG is a hometown kid and HS kids buy into the whole package deal concept even more thanks to the influence of NBA players contacting each other to form superteams.

I wanted Darius to come here but we have Durham and Phinisee. Add Romeo to the guards we have and it still gives us a roster that can make some noise.

Kinda sounds that way but personally dont know the WHOLE story. He has done multiple interviews and visits so him doing it the way he did makes me believe that he knew but I guess we will never know. I cancelled my subscription to Peegs though.

Yeah as dirty as Rabby is in all this they were part of it.

Why would Chris get a ban for telling what he's been hearing? 1. He doesnt charge anyone for info, and 2. he's made all these experts Rabjohns included look foolish over the last 6-8 months.

I’m not gonna lie either. This does make Vanderbilt a serious threat for Romeo. I hate the thought of losing the top in-state recruit to freakin Vanderbilt, but it’s possible. Now with all that said, I still think Romeo goes to IU

I will be honest im not so sure anymore. Really not that optimistic on romeo now.

I don't think there is anything shady about Garland going to the hometown team. I wish he was coming to IU, but I get it. But, if Drew somehow lands Romeo and Shittu as well, I mean come on, that's a UK/Duke level class at Vanderbilt?!?! Either Garland is the greatest salesmen EVER, or something shady is going on with Vandy/Drew. 

Not sour grapes, again I totally get Garland wanting to stay home, and he seems like a great kid who handled his recruitment really well. No issue with him picking Vandy.

I'm guessing someone at ESPN hit submit on that story before they were supposed to. I'm not surprised Darius gave the interview and that Biancardi had the quotes ready to go, but I'm surprised it hit the internet before the scheduled time. That's what you get for trusting ESPN, though.

Seeing some of these posts remind me why I left the board for awhile. We lose out on a top 10 kid to the school that is in his backyard, the one with the coach that has know him for 10 years, and with our coach being here for a few months and the world is ending. Just stop. We were in the running with a kid that we had no shot with a few months ago. We are in a great place right now. It’s gonna be a dogfight in recruiting, we will lose some and win some. Some of you should be medicated.

That's what I don't get. Why set up this announcement, then talk to ESPN and tell them everything. I don't blame ESPN. Clearly, he talked to them and had no problem with them publishing this info.

We will be alright. This means we will have to do the slow rebuild --back on the 3 year plan instead of the 1 year rebuild. Close --but no cigar! Seems like lately we are always the bridesmaid and never the bride --for these 5 Stars. Maybe someday our prince (or Romeo) will come! Lol !
