I must say, playing the victim card is a novel approach. Stupid, but novel nonetheless.

I wonder if someone from the English dept. will let the athletic dept know that "victim" doesn't mean what they think it means.

I still can't quite put into words how much it infuriates me that we tore down our program over excessive phone calls from a coach we hired to avoid the wrath of the NAACP while other programs are paying players and just flipping the bird at anyone and everyone while continuing to pay players and rewarding their coaches with contract extensions.

The NCAA has been told by the FBI that they are not to do any investigation until the FBI one is done.  So the thing is that the FBI will have already produced facts prior to the NCAA going into it.....which means that it's going to be hard for them to hide their heads in the sand like they did with UNC.

My memory is a bit foggy on this one, but didn't Kansas conduct some sort of internal investigation when this got started last fall, drag it out to make it look like they were actually looking for rule-breaking, then proudly announce they found nothing wrong?
