realTomCrean Posted Monday at 05:43 PM Posted Monday at 05:43 PM The floodgates on offense are bound to explode soon. Each game has had several explosive passes barely miss, it's only a matter of time. + these players are used to dominating and they haven't so far. A neck will be stepped on very soon. Rutger or Nebraska are going to catch a right hook to jaw. Prediction: IU wins the next two games combined 63+ pts to less than 2 TDs. A ranked Nebraska is in deep deep trouble. I remember this from last year when Iowa/USC was a random 4pm BTN game when they were both top 20. B1G teams are required per their TV deal to play at least a conference game on BTN. Home vs Northwestern is the only other obvious non-marquee game they have left though if NW played like they did versus us, that may be a CBS/NBC/FOX game depending on what the other options are that week. realTomCrean Posted Monday at 08:41 PM Posted Monday at 08:41 PM it’s crazy IU will play Nebraska to tie them at 22 straight and then immediately play Ohio State to tie them at 23 straight ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote

We made a good impression on a 4* RB from Georgia visiting for the Northwestern game. https://247sports.com/college/indiana/article/indiana-hoosiers-football-georgia-rb-christian-schettini-has-indiana-at-the-top-after-visit-290619822/ ronzo4IU, southsidehoosier and skhoosier2 3 Quote

TheWatShot Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago We got our first national title in basketball because Purdue wanted to go to New York City and play in the NIT instead. History has funny ways of repeating itself. AZ Hoosier 1 Quote
Pagoda Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Yea. I bet Cig's camp reached out to 15-20+ schools during his JMU tenure. It's a very basic first step to see what the situation is: are you interested in my client, what's the potential comp, and what resources would you provide to the football program. Purdue isn’t special. If he did interview there, maybe he takes the job, I dunno. Or maybe he sees the crummy commitment to football and he passes. I could see that being the case. Quote
Hovadipo Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Bobinski wanting P5 pedigree and having pause on a 61 year old who hadn't yet been the head guy at a P5 isn't the crazy part. That's somewhat forgivable if you dismiss hindsight, though anyone who watched JMU that first year knew Cig was a guy. The crazy part is having that set of criteria and giving the job to Ryan Freakin' Walters. LIHoosier and pumpfake 2 Quote

Yeah, I was afraid we weren't going to be able land a proven football coach for that very same reason. So so thankful for Whitten making the commitment. cthomas 1 Quote

For all the negatively that has surrounded her from segments of the faculty, she has been the saviour of the football program. I'd say that alone makes her tenure a resounding success. Quote
