Who is going to be in the big ten championship game vs IU?

IndianaHoosiers merchandise

It’s not going to be Ohio State.

Well first we have to be able to score points before I say we are going anywhere.  UCLA and OSU are in the driver's seat right now.  IF OSU loses games because Sayin is out, then I think it's possibly UCLA/IU or it could be Iowa.  Personally, I am hoping UCLA loses because even though OSU's schedule is supposed to be tough, I am unsure if I think those teams will beat them.  Just going to depend on how they scheme offense around their backup QB whomever that may end up ultimately being.

After IU beats Michigan and Michigan beats Ohio State because I have seen the underdog seems 50% or more especially a td or less underdog win the game.

OSU would need to lose another game or UCLA lose two.  OSU holds the tie breaker over us and not sure how the other team is determined if UCLA/Iowa or anyone else only ends up with one loss.

I think Ohio State is good for a couple losses..  The biggest question is can Indiana win out?  If Hoover continues to miss on completions and this isn’t the only time Hoover and Marsh misconnected, Chandler fumble egos have to remain in check until everyone gets connected quickly and efficiently.

I think OSU has a good chance to run the table the rest of the way. Even with a backup qb. Most importantly, we have to do the same. Can't afford another loss.

Assuming IUFB runs the table, which is a very big assumption, we'll need to get in on a one loss tiebreaker

One loss tiebreakers
UCLA - Need them to lose to SC, Michigan, and/or Minny.
O$U - at SC, Oregon, NW, at Nebraska, and Michigan is their remaining schedule. Without Sayin they will be heavily challenged. I will not be surprised if they slip up a game or two because it's not a cakewalk for them. Need them to lose two games, they hold the H2H tiebreaker.
Iowa - Needs to run the table. Schedule is favorable for them but travels to Minny and NW.
NW - We hold the tiebreaker H2H
SC - On the schedule play them 11/14, loser will be eliminated.
Oregon - Needs to run the table with NW, at O$U and Michigan on the schedule
Wisconsin - Needs to run the table. SC, at Purdue, and Minny on the schedule. Toughest game is at Iowa.
Minny - play them 10/31 loser will be eliminated.

Iowa might be the team that slips in over us if I had to guess.

I don't foresee a two conference loss team playing the championship game.

USC has an awful defense but a formidable offense.  The OSU game at SC will tell us alot about who they will be moving forward.  Their O line is not good.  They have not been able to run the ball.  Will have to be better in both areas IMO with a new inexperienced QB to not slip up.  Don't know if I see them losing more than one though the rest of the season possibly at Nebraska or at home vs Oregon (if they can get Moore back) but Day and staff > Rhule/Lanning.  We can beat OSU in Indy but have to make it there.  I always had in my mind if we had to lose, Id choose losing in Bloomington rather than in Indy.  This game at Michigan looms large IMO.  We have to win this one and the road to Indy gets easier assuming OSU/UCLA lose.

I'll be going to the Bucket game against Purdump this year, my first game at Memorial Stadium in 25 years.  I feel silly asking this because I used to know so well, but are there sections that are better than others?  Most parking was on the west/north sides before, that was first come first served.  Is it still open parking, just pay to park?  Any advice is greatly appreciated

Been to two games this year.  I honestly parked around 6th street and just walked.   Made getting out super easy.  Not sure if you are trying to tailgate though

Daughter and I are going to the bucket game as well.

All reserved parking around the stadium is sold out.  There are two lots you can still buy on gameday (Union lots).

If you want to tailgate, you'll need to buy a parking pass on the secondary market or try for those Union lots on gameday (I don't know how fast they fill up).  If you are not tailgating and able to walk 25-30 minutes, just park in the Henderson garage (free, not on the map below though, it's 3rd and Indiana) or anywhere downtown (lots of spaces available from 3rd to 6th St, only $1/hr).  If I am not tailgating I park in town and it's very easy -- use the 3rd street exit to/from I-69 to avoid traffic on 45/46.

For the OSU game we found a block of meters just west of College/Walnut at about 12th. $1 per hour with no restrictions on number of hours, ten minute walk to the stadium, and instant out after the game which allowed us to beat the masses to post game eats.

Thank you guys so much!  I really appreciate these posts.  Another question if I may.  Those metal bleachers were fine in my 20's.  Now in my 50's I'm not excited about them lol.  I assume they're still in place?  Are there chair rentals that attach to them or anything like that?

I’ve never rented one of those but this is where you can get them.  $15-20 something like that.

Stadium seatbacks may be rented on game day. Stadium seat kiosks are located on the East and West Concourses (inside Gate E3 and Gate W2) of Merchants Bank Field at Memorial Stadium.
