I was glad he made such a huge play in the championship game that got him some credit he deserved. Great player. MonteMarcaccini, BtownStrength, go iu bb and 9 others 12 Quote

Asked to change positions to fit scheme and kept his head down grinding even when I'm sure it was tough. Could not be happier for him having a huge play on the biggest stage! JerryYeagley23 Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Does anybody have any experience or info on how to donate to IU’s NIL? I checked out Hoosier Connect and when I sign in the only option is a link to Bison Drop store. Is this a mobile thing, is desktop different? Thought you could make one time donations or set up recurring. Quote

AZ Hoosier Posted January 29 Posted January 29 This talks about Indiana's increased spending on football https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/we-cant-treat-it-like-an-intramural-sport-anymore-iu-went-all-in-on-football-with-magnificent-results/ skhoosier2 1 Quote
lillurk Posted January 31 Posted January 31 Anyone else feeling bittersweet that we may never see a team so special again? That we don’t get another game to watch? I can’t wait for the ‘26 team but there’s no topping perfection. And yet: ‘24-present IUFB is the best sports story of basically any lifetime, and we get to watch chapter 3 starting with spring ball. We will never see a team this special again. Not at IU and probably never anywhere. They started the season as the team with the most losses all time. I get why some do. I don’t. College teams are transitory and it is what it is. I’m thrilled it happened and I get to rewatch it for years. Next year’s team and likely teams beyond that will have chances to do special things too that would be extremely enjoyable for us fans. For those who experienced ‘76, I’m sure they still had a great time in ‘81 and ‘87! And to be clear, I don’t need a natty to enjoy this IUFB program. I can’t wait for the spring game. A lot of exciting new players to see. Stuhoo, J34, go iu bb and 3 others 6 Quote

I still see stuff online and have to shake my head and smile thinking about “that really happened.” I think the football team could carry on and have quite a bit of success but never recapture a run like that. lillurk 1 Quote
TheWatShot Posted January 31 Posted January 31 Does anyone else get a little nervous watching the highlights because you're afraid it was too good to be true? Like, Sharpe won't actually intercept the pass, or Mendoza will fumble after the initial hit on his run? I'm only able to watch the blocked punt because nobody shows highlights of a punt, so that one obviously went our way. lillurk 1 Quote

Hardwood83 Posted Thursday at 10:56 PM Posted Thursday at 10:56 PM IU exorcised a lot of demons this season. Beat O$U first time in last 30 tries, won B1G championship, won the Rose bowl (won A bowl) won at Penn State for 1st time, National Championship(!!) so...are there any remaining shameful streaks or records that need to be broken?
