He’s not gonna beat good guys cold off his bounce, he doesn’t have that kind of 1st step, but he’s really strong and physical. If you run, say, a zoom action with him where he’s getting the ball on the move he can keep a defender on his hip and finish through contact.

Three things I really liked about that interview despite Goodman being a goober 

1) He said it wasn’t even about DDV as a coach but him as a person that sold him on coming to IU. Bodes well IMO.

2) Said most of his NIL is going to go towards helping his mom out 

3) He talked a lot about winning and having a sense of urgency to get better in these next 9 months. He’s happy to be committed so he can get back to keeping the main thing the main thing.

i gotta be honest that interview with Field of 68 put a big smile on my face.  He said everything you would want a player for Indiana to say.  Gonna be rooting hard for this kid to become a 1st round NBA talent.

Looks like my thought that Wilkerson didn't want to tell UK 'no' to them while on their campus turned out to likely be correct.  

Also think we can put to rest the 'if a guy leaves campus without a commitment, he isn't committing'.
