Morgantown is not a pleasant place to live. This is the second year in a row a head coach has left after a year. Their WBB coach left to accept a B1G job after one year.

Will the AG sure IU now?

And anyone who's been saying it's Brad the last few weeks obviously needs to reevaluate their sources.

I think it’s obvious there are one or two donors with a boner for Brad. They can’t keep their mouth shut and have very little basketball sense. It’s kind of hilarious everything from the Stevens side is that he’s never even seriously considered leaving for IU but these donors want you to believe they almost had him….this close. lol…

And not just once, but TWICE! Lmao

Dolson just hired a general search firm. Hired Devries off a list from some dork consultants and called it a day. Same as every other basic AD

I swear some of you are funny in the sense that you worry about stupid ****.  He had a budget way less than us and he payed without his best player and a 45% 3 pt shooter for 75% of the season.  He still should have been in the tourney and had a too10/15 D.  IU will fill a talent void.  It’s a good hire.  We have a ton of time in the portal unlike Kentucky last year.  I mean who the F cares what Purdue and Illinois people say? They haven’t won crap either and they have had their best teams in like 20 years.  Painter won’t sniff another final four without his once in a generation player.  Grow a pair.

No, Purdue and Illinois haven’t won crap.  But neither has IU at a level far worse than them.  Spend the amount of time and money some of us have, then and only then can you tell us how to fan.

In a group text with guys from several other BigTen schools, some who played at IL and Purdue. Getting absolutely cooked for this hire. Anybody got a comeback for me? What a kick in the nuts man….

Illinois and Purdue have a lot to brag about.... Guarantee your Purdoo friend is nervous about High Point coming up ;)

I’m talking UK. They went 10-8 in conference this year…..I was told to link an article to Pope hiring. That does nothing as UK had a pretty **** year overall. If yall are good with mediocre, which it appears many of you are, let’s do it.

He’s a 3 seed better than both Illinois and Purdue this year. Find new friends maybe? Woodson went 4-4 against Purdue.

I’d probably say something like, “Yeah, can’t believe we hired that stiff. It will be so utterly humiliating to lose to us next year. But don’t worry, ‘cause that’ll never, ever, happen”

Point is, when rival fans and former players who played at rival schools love the hire, you know you’re in trouble.

It's even better when you hire a guy they thought was a nobody and still hand them their a**
