rcbowla Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 If every big program AD that is considering a new HC next year hasn't made CCC his/her first call then they should be fired. The competition will be plenty and it will be real. Quote
cthomas Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 I love everything about CCC but I do think that we kinda caught lightning in a bottle this season. We need to make sure that he is here next season and has a chance to build a sustainable program. I once watched a movie where a leading character said that the way to a women's heart was "an unexpected gift at an unexpected time". This season has been that unexpected gift. 8bucks, Redcamaro and thebigweave 3 Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 I honestly don't think we have to be overly concerned that we'll lose him. I just don't feel that he'll be that unreasonable in new contract expectations especially if there's genuine benefit to his assistants and facilities. Hoosierfan2017 Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 Maybe it’s copium, but the more I think about it, the more I think he’ll stay. This season shows that the sky is the limit at IU. I truly don’t think there’s anything a school like Florida can give him that IU can’t, other than the brand. And I don’t mean to dismiss the appeal of that, but it has drawbacks too. Florida expects to compete for SEC championships and will fire you if you don’t. Put together a 10 year run at IU and he’ll get a statue and probably the stadium named after him. We have a gigantic basketball fanbase that would love to throw its support behind a football program too. We just haven’t historically had a reason to. Jeff Flabjohns and thebigweave 2 Quote

Popular Post Home Jersey Posted November 10, 2024 Popular Post Posted November 10, 2024 After defeating Michigan, Indiana will at worst finish this regular season 11-1. 12-0 and a conference championship game very much on the table. God bless Curt Cignetti. taco corp, Lebowski, thebigweave and 7 others 10 Quote
