If every big program AD that is considering a new HC next year hasn't made CCC his/her first call then they should be fired. The competition will be plenty and it will be real.

I love everything about CCC but I do think that we kinda caught lightning in a bottle this season. We need to make sure that he is here next season and has a chance to build a sustainable program. I once watched a movie where a leading character said that the way to a women's heart was "an unexpected gift at an unexpected time". This season has been that unexpected gift.

Sometimes hiring the right guy changes everything.  He needed IUFB like we needed him.

Hopefully the “negotiations” consist of Scott telling Cignetti to name his salary and list all the other things he wants and then Cignetti putting the list together.

I honestly don't think we have to be overly concerned that we'll lose him.  I just don't feel that he'll be that unreasonable in new contract expectations especially if there's genuine benefit to his assistants and facilities.
