Popular Post RaceToTheTop Posted February 26, 2023 Popular Post Posted February 26, 2023 Bracket matrix had IU as the last four seed BEFORE yesterday’s win. Saying IU is as close to a 6 or 7 than a 3 or 4 is just nonsense. HinnyHoosier, Banksyrules, HoosierFan1994 and 11 others 12 2 Quote

IU outrebounded 46-30. PU FT advantage 33-12 TJD scoreless in the first half, finishes with 10pts. IU has 2 bench points. I'd have guessed a 20 pt loss, easily! You could have added JHS having 35 points and I’m still not sure people would have guessed a win thebigweave, Demo, Whoozhers and 4 others 7 Quote

It is pretty shocking looking at all the normal stats that usually reflect the outcome and it is all in the Boilers favor except for the final score it was one of the more odd wins but one of the best ones I can recall hoosierfan6157, cthomas and thebigweave 3 Quote

Been thinking about it some and in fairness to Purdue, Hood-Schifino is pretty much the perfect weapon to deal with what they do. Their guards aren’t very athletic or physical and Edey can really only play pick and roll coverage 1 way. It limits Painter. But, how many teams can roll out a physical 6’6” PG who loves mid-range offense, is comfortable in traffic and can’t really be sped up? In today’s game there are very few guys like that. They could probably make a deep tournament run and never see another one. If he’s feeling it like he was last night, they don’t have answers. A bunch of IU alumni and yes this was a top 10 game experience for me because I gave us virtually no shot to win this one. JHS was HIM which was awesome to watch and the impact this makes on seeding is huge. MikeRoberts, J34 and Redcamaro 2 1 Quote

Just an odd game. Our guards completely dominated Purdue’s. 100% spot on. My brother’s plane landed at 5 pm in Indy for a week long visit. First game we’ve got to watch together in about 20 years. Midway in the 2nd half he said, I have no idea how we are winning (meaning due to the stats). I agreed and said but yet I don’t feel like we’re in danger of losing. lillurk and ghostofnormandale 2 Quote
