Southside Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 Good game vs a mediocre team... I'll take it. Good stuff from TJD, Race, Galloway, and XJ. Good stuff from Bates too. Would have liked to see some Durr. Hope Phin isn't serious. lillurk and HoosierHoopster 2 Quote

HoosierAloha Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 We hit threes and actually had a big three. Crazy to think we ONLY shot 13 threes still. It seems like shots go down and defense goes up when we play with a little more of that e stuff. thebigweave, lillurk, Chris007 and 1 other 4 Quote

What would a plantar fasciitis recovery look like?Pesky injury, is the problem. Very treatable, but can be super nagging and difficult to manage pain, particularly unless you’re resting. It can be a few weeks, then you have to work in slowly. And even then, no great guarantee that it won’t continue to be an issue. What would a plantar fasciitis recovery look like? Well, to your area of study, I would say; You know when two potato's rub to close together in a celler that is a few degrees too warm? They get that one black spot, but if they are removed soon enough they still sprout and grow. It's kinda like that, Kinda. Stromboli, Chris007, reconmkd and 2 others 5 Quote

Is he better on D than O, yes, but people act like he is all bigten defensive team and he isn’t anywhere close. Not even our beat defensive player 94Bulldog, Hardwood83 and Hoosierfan2017 1 2 Quote

LamarCheeks Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 Woody on X after the game ... "The game is starting to slow down a little bit for him. The Big Ten is a little bit different than the league he came out of. Not that that league is not good. They've got great players and coaches and teams in that league. But the Big Ten forces you to really think about what you're doing -- especially at the point guard spot." Ouch! Perhaps a bit of an unintentional dig at the ACC. Or maybe it was intentional ... Chris007 Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 So Durr is in the doghouse a little, Lander is hurt, JG got a little of his butt chewed off, Bates seems to be slowly turning it around. Anything else about the bench? Trey hit a 3 which is always good. Starters played well starting the game, then played not so well to end the game. If we can get consistent games from X, TJD and Race then sprinkle in points from others I like the way we are moving forward. Loved the start, didn't love the finish but we're 15-5 with a toss-up at Maryland. lillurk, Hoosierfanyuh, tkbbn and 1 other 4 Quote

I loved the start of the game but we went back to bad habits in the second half that allowed PSU WIDE OPEN threes. That has and will continue to doom us. I believe we're only in a toss-up at Maryland if we bring it (e word). If we show up like the first PSU game or against Michigan it's not really a toss-up. Stromboli and Chris007 2 Quote
