I know football's a total different animal. But when you look at what Joe Tiller did at PU, it's pretty remarkable. And proves a coach can make a difference. It's not like he signed a bunch of blue-chippers in his one offseason.

Will this team likely hang a banner? Probably not. But the pieces are 100% there for a top 25 team and a win or two in the tournament. Who knows what will happen, and obviously there is a lot left to unfold, but there is no reason not to be excited.

I agree. In addition to the talent, I like how many guys have a thing or two to prove. Gonna be fun to watch a team with a chip on its shoulder.

Although I love Race because of his effort game-in and game-out, I get the feeling that he just wouldn’t fit a more open offensive approach. If he showed a greater propensity for hitting 15-footers I would love to see him back. I hate to say it but it just seems like he’s the odd man out. Sucks...

I doubt Roberts would go for that as it'd be a demotion and he could get an assistant position elsewhere.

I don't get the May talk at all. Why would he leave the DOBO position at UNC (his alma mater) to go to the same position at IU? I just don't get it and will only believe it is even truly a possibility if it happens.
