Dolson and QB are responsible for the death of Indiana Basketball if a home run is not ran this month. 

I agree, but disagree. I agree with it on the surface.  The problem is that Dolson could have been pursing Nick Saban for all we know and the board didn't support it and we landed with Cig. Which, has been awesome as we all know.

The same applies for passing on May and hiring Woodson. Dolson works for IU and doesn't have the ultimate say on anything with out the university's support. 

If you haven't ever had to work in that scenario it absolutely sucks. You try like hell to be successful knowing it is your @$$ if it goes south. That is often why people make comments about employees needing to be terminated and it appears they always get another chance. That often happens because the powers that be followed their preference and not the one of the person who takes the fall for the hire so they show some remorse in the failure knowing they screwed him over. 

My thoughts are Stevens, Donovan, or Jay Wright are heading to Bloomington. Pie in the sky on that, but I think Dolson has trolled people and nobody really knows.

IU has too much going for it (resources, NIL, etc.) for this to be Brownell. 

I think Dolson has something up his sleeve that will make us mostly all happy and surprise us.

Folks, I personally guarantee you that Brad Brownell is not the “big wink.” His resume is barely above Kevin Keatts’s, who was just fired. Relax and enjoy us (possibly) making the tournament in 10 minutes. Nothing will be announced until Woodson is no longer HC, and right now Woodson is HC.

Dolson a month ago : listen up team. I have the guy I’ve wanted all along. Got donors willing to pay huge bucks for salary and NIL. But I need to take the heat off. So, some of you spread big whales like Stevens or Drew. Some of you TJ or McDermott. Some of you even Beard/Wade. And let’s get the up and comers in McCollum and Huss. Then, I’ll finally leak out Brownell on selection Sunday and it’ll be epic.

As of right now, the few people I know in media that cover CBB/IU haven’t heard anything on Brownell.  Of course that can change but that’s what they say.

I have a feeling the reaction IU fans would have if the hire is Brownell would be similar to the reaction Tennessee Football fans had when they almost hired Schiano....granted for different reasons. 

Me personally: I would let it play out. Would grade the hire a C- or D. Not at all my choice and it says a lot about where the program is. That being said, no hire has been made yet.

This site on the coaching search has had more up and downs and sharp turns than any roller coaster ride I have ever been on. I for one appreciate what some of the poster share on what they are hearing. Sometimes we get carried away with our emotions good or bad I suppose that’s human nature. Bottom line what is posted on this site has no bearing on who ends up being the next’ coach. I don’t understand why some of the responses have to be so negative and sometimes out and out ugly. Don’t worry be happy. I may like or hate the choice but I will get on board and hope for the best. Sending positive vibes to IU community.
