That's if they fire him.

The buyout he pays to the school if he leaves is only 20% of the remaining contract (as opposed to 50% to him for getting fired) which comes out to $3.3M.

I wish it was $8M if he left. I still think $3.3M is too much to pay for him but I could see IU doing that.

100% these people are either getting bits and pieces of the real story or aren’t getting anything but using their position around the situation to seem relevant to their friends.

if folks signed NDAs but are still leaking info on the daily to their friends for them to pump gifs on a message board then Dolson needs to reevaluate  his inner circle

It's Iowa for Ben.

Tend to agree, I guess I was saying setting aside location, a small school like Nova makes some sense to me for McCollum though he may feel differently

Yep. Since Dolson didn’t lock him down and Goodman/Bozich are saying McCollum, Brownell, or 3rd candidate … curious who they’re referring to

I think it’s still there but I think you want someone a little more proven if you can get it
Could Stevens have been at the Florida watching golden and gates? Stevens the GM of IUBB giving input on the next head coach

If several contacts give out the same misinformation, wouldn’t it seem coordinated?

It would just seem like they have the same ultimate source.

Maybe. My experience is only one experience. Maybe IU is doing this, and you definitely have more insight into how IU specially operates (i mean that genuinely).

Seems like an utter waste of unnecessary time, though. Not sure why people that don't know anything anyways would need to be coordinated to drip misinformation to donors. Just seems silly.

I will say that Brad hasn't ever been seen this many times out at college games in the past like he has the last couple weeks.

That may be true.  But take the ND game out for obvious reasons, is it that unusual or are we just more attuned trying to read tea leaves?  I just don’t see why him watching college games means anything other than he’s prepping for the draft.
