I honestly trust what Dolson and Whitten and the search firm decide. If they say his off court stuff is fine then I’m good with it. I get that he made mistakes but people change and research would be done excessively on him because of it

Chris and AP are both trying to get more information (Seems like a lot confusion on the IU side), I haven’t seen any RTZ or JY comments yet. I saw Rabby saying people on the IU side thought it was more front office speak than a clear “no”.

Yea, seems like they are trying to get any information, I think Chris is hoping this is a smokescreen. I don’t understand the whole waiting until Monday to sign a contract. Maybe to avoid the media if there was leak during the All-star break? Maybe more time to think about it before signing? Who knows.

IMO, if we "had" to have a former Knight player be the coach 4 years ago, it should have been Alford. But this wasn't about a former Knight player. It was nepotism- plain and simple.

I've wondered if maybe his family still doesn't want to move and he needs time to convince them.

I have nothing better to do today, so theory time, but the Celtics (again) probably swooped in at the last second and offered him minority ownership. They did it with the Gm position back in 2021, so minority ownership isn’t out of the question.
