Popular Post Papacap Posted February 24 Popular Post Posted February 24 I’m going to treat this like a video game where you have to make a choice. I’m going to save my game at this spot and choose….I believe in our insider info and welcome Brad Stevens to IU. If that doesn’t turn out, I’ll reload the game and select…I’m not sure why people fell for that again. Welcome Scott Drew. OliviaPope40, Hoosier DaDa, HoosierInParadise and 6 others 6 3

Drew had to ask for NIL enhancement last year, something he would never, ever, have to do at Indiana. 2) The slightly snarky take at the end regarding the enthusiasm of the fan base is actually something Drew, who understands it, would very likely appreciate. I'm just wondering why there have not been any rumors or sourced information coming from the NBA or Boston Celtics insiders and everything concerning Brad Stevens has come from the IU side with the exception of the unconvincing Jeff Goodman tweet/story. I certainly would not be upset if he was the guy, far from it. Anyway, thanks for the information you share, as always! Because everyone involved is keeping it quiet/professional? It may not end up being BS but it being quiet shouldn’t surprise anyone. If the last 8 years of coaching searches taught us anything it’s likely when a coach is being rumored - they aren’t the guy. 94Bulldog, pumpfake, Ryno6284 and 2 others 4 1

JSHoosier Posted February 24 Posted February 24 I was curious and checked. Teams are shooting a few percentage points better from 3 against Baylor this year than the last few years, that would contribute to a down year. lillurk 1

The difference between being a legend at Baylor and at Indiana is the difference between shooting a bullet and throwing it. I have gone to a game at Baylor when they and the opponent were both top 20 ranked. The game was on ESPN and the arena was half full. Right before tip the PA guy says "alright, everybody move on down" or something like that and the lower bowl was instantly full for the TV angles. I found it odd though that most of the people sitting up higher kept their coats on then when the PA guy said that and they all flocked down it seemed a regular occurrence. This was in 2011 when they went to the elite 8 so a very good team. I always thought he might look for a more passionate place at some point Demo, go iu bb, thebigweave and 1 other 1 3

Let’s agree that Chris Collins is a real option under consideration (he is), is still surprisingly young, is a really quality guy whose teams play incredibly hard, and who would be guy that might not win the press release, but could be a helluva good choice. I'd support it for sure more than some other names I see all the time. GloryDays, thebigweave, CSP and 3 others 6

People like Chris, RTZ, Jerry, GP and AP tell us what they are hearing. Whether it comes to fruition or not, doesn’t make them a troll or a liar. What they are hearing today, February 24th, may be correct and accurate info TODAY. That could change tomorrow. People change their minds all the time. None of us on here are taking directly or thinking for Brad Stevens or “insert coach here”. So many people get offended or call them trolls, etc if what they say doesn’t happen. They aren’t on here spreading BS (bull sh*t) rumors for fun. They say what they hear from a source. That source could embellish it or the info just straight up changes because person changed their mind or whatever. Either way, Regardless of what happens, we are lucky to have them all here and saying what they hear. Better times are ahead for IU regardless, because Woodson is gone. In saying that, LETS GO BRAD. LETS GO HOOSIERS. Thank you for reading, now back to our regular scheduled programming. TargaFlorio Posted February 24 Posted February 24 I personally don't believe Stevens is a candidate at IU, but here's a quick blurb about the Celtics sale from an ESPN Insider article today. "The Celtics were expected to close their first round of bids for the team last month, though the team has been tight-lipped about the situation throughout the process. The only known bidder is current Celtics co-owner Steve Pagliuca, who has stated his intention to buy the team he has owned alongside Wyc Grousbeck for more than two decades." https://www.espn.com/nba/insider/story/_/id/43982299/nba-insiders-luka-lebron-fit-cavs-celtics-series-more Ctf9 and lillurk 1 1

Thought it was newer than that from a comment in another post that I read comparing facilities between Baylor and IU. 8bucks 1
