They are mad that they waited a year to fire Fran, when they could have gotten DeVries last year. If they do fire Fran this year, not sure about that. It sounds like a IU Dusty thing. They don't seem thrilled about McCollum, too slow, too much like Lickliter, thinking they should try to get Chris Collins too. If Fran does get fired, I wouldn't be surprised to see him somewhere in Indiana with his 3 boys and Caitlyn Clark in Indy. They are also interested in Pearl. Fun to watch them for a diversion. Yeah, I’m sure Pearl is dying to get to that much $hittier job than the 1 he has now because Iowa City made quite an indelible mark on him when he was an Asst there 30 yrs ago. I think if Fran does go, they should get Shrews, and keep with the crazy. Watching Frantrum was the high light of Big Ten basketball during the Woodson years. At least for me.
