There'd be a 'Fire Mark Turgeon' thread up before the ink was dry on the contract. Considering IU's insistence on keeping coaches too long that thread would for sure hit a record number of pages.

Turgeon in an interview last year.   Doubt an opening in a fishbowl setting would be considered best for the family since he got burned out at Maryland.  
 

I deliver mail for a living and I can say Turgeon to IU has a 0 percent chance.   But as I’ve said from the beginning of this search no place is having as much fun with this search then Banners.

Look guys I don’t blame you a second for the initial reaction and take no offense at your skepticism. And I will say it’s not like I’m in the room for these convos or that mark or the IU AD or anyone directly involved in these conversations has told me this stuff firsthand. Just thought it’d be of interest that this is what I’ve been told by being indirectly connected to this specific direction of the process.  And if you take a breath and think about it from a 90,000 foot view, it actually does make some sense in my opinion.
