Scott asked him last March if he was ready. He said not until they won the championship or had to break up the team. They won. Just kept talking to him, his family, his dad who played football at IU. Stayed in touch as a friend. Then picked back up the conversation around Thanksgiving all the way up to now. He wanted some assurances about NIL, which we gave. Plus a 10 year deal means their set up for future. 12345Brad, Trish, 8bucks and 28 others 19 12
RoadRage Posted February 8, 2025 Posted February 8, 2025 I just hope that those in charge of the hiring process are more concerned with finding a great coach and realize we need a coach not a Reverend or a choir boy! Of course if he is a great coach and a choir boy, I have no problem with that! Iufan93, HoosierHoopster and P92 3

I know most don’t believe this but Scott started cultivating this relationship with Brad last March. Doesn’t mean we’ll get him but letting him handle this gives us a really good chance. I can believe it! Chris007 1

That was a horrible day. I can see Celtics fans being upset over a coach or player leaving, but I find it hard to believe they would lose much sleep over someone from upper management leaving to coach a college team!

If this happens after the football hire and the season we just had, we need to discuss the height of the Scott Dolson statue. The seated Lincoln at the Lincoln Memorial in DC is 19’ tall, we should start there and work our way up. Willkie71, moyemayhem, RoadRage and 4 others 4 1 2
