Portal opens 24th - just need to get it done before then - but I bet it's Wednesday if its not an active coach who is coaching - give a day (today) for cleaning house (moving out current staff where necessary) - next day give new coach a chance to get his bearings then do the real stuff like announcement the next day. Plus I like hitting the news cycle on Wednesday or Thursday - lots of people watching NCAAs so you're fresh news. My 2 cents.

Hoosier Roots Posted March 18 Posted March 18 I definitely wouldn’t be in destitute over a devries hire, but if we’re taking an Iowa guy I think I’d rather have BM. The thing that sticks out with McCollum over all the other guys in his “tier” is that he didn’t just build a good winning program, he built something that was absolutely dominant. I don’t think you can completely discount that just being due to the level of competition. I think we all want to be back to that level and id rather take someone who already knows how to build a dominant program over someone who is still figuring out how to build a great one. jonz44 1
