  2. Barely posted the past few days because I was in Atlanta. Truly a bucket list experience. When Ponds picky-sixdied it felt like twenty jet planes were revving in 10X10 room. The crowd was insanely pro and all IU. If you take away the Oregon band members? 90-95% IU without a doubt. With an announced attendance of over 75,000, maybe the single largest IU crowd ever; home, road, or neutral. The Oregon people I met were super nice but they kinda didn’t have much of a choice. The IU fans were exceptionally nice to them even when they could have engaged. This semi-old IU fan stayed up past 2:00 am two nights in a row, drove 19 hours over 2.5 days, my voice is still trashed, my eyes ache, and it was one of the best entertainment and IU times of my life. With my 19 year old son and four of my absolutely best college buddies by my side. Never daunted. And sublime.

  4. Honestly something about that blocked punt in the 2nd half caught my eye, there might be legs to this. It's almost like we KNEW Oregon was trying to punt on that play.

  6. Sidenote, I personally know the Brock Schott family and he’ll be a Hoosier very soon. Leo HS TE. Highly rated. I don’t think he’ll be our penciled in starter but he’s a big athletic kid that’s focused on be great. Will be cool having him on the team.

  14. Some follow-up on the Fletcher incident with Tyrique per Niz: Indiana football defensive tackle Tyrique Tucker tried to congratulate Miami's running back Mark Fletcher Jr. with a hand shake after a 27-21 win in the CFP title game on Monday night at Hard Rock Stadium. Fletcher stunned Tucker with a sucker punch. "I was just trying to congratulate him on the game," Tucker told The Herald-Times. "He tried to sneak me, everybody kind of held me back. That was a cheap punch. Luckily, we got the win, I'm not really too worried about it. He's salty, he going home with the L." lol. You're damn right Tyrique.

  16. Coffee tastes f****** fantastic. Gonna savor this special Natty roast, then go pop in on some clients that are big Boilee fans. I plan on going full obnoxious mode, don’t care if they become ex-clients as I’m retiring in the fall. And retiring a VERY happy man Champs!!!!!!

  17. Jared Kelly - Indiana WR Tyler Morris will be back at IU next season and expects to be full go for spring camp, he tells me. Morris, a Michigan transfer, is coming off an ACL tear suffered last spring. He jumped back into practice the week before the Rose Bowl.

  18. Well an IU win would cap off a great day off from work. Got a little afternoon delight with the wife and now she’s making wings for the family for the game. If IU performs like I did today the game should over in the first 5 minutes

  24. Being older, stronger, and more experienced has been a big factor in our success this season. We didn't create the rules, we're just playing the game that was laid out. I love this

  27. Hey btw, real life Miami fans (not the ones on twitter all week fighting with the idiotic Indiana burners) are excellent people. Sat next to 8 of them in the IU section and it was as pleasant as could be. Friendly banter all around the stadium. Their fans kept congratulating IU fans on the way out. It was an incredible atmosphere.

  33. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6927575/2025/12/30/ndiana-hoosiers-defense-curt-cignetti-coaches-react/ “(Haines) gets all those sacks because he changes the look post-snap,” said a Big Ten running backs coach. “The quarterbacks think, ‘OK, I’m getting pressure, I’m gonna throw it right here, and then realize — ooh, he’s covered. Sack. He sucks to play against. “Their scheme, man, it’s so tough. They had us in a blender. They’re very multiple. They’re so good with fire zones, simulated pressures, do a good job of fitting the run, and Haines does such a great job of breaking his own tendencies. He does some stuff that is like NFL complicated. He does a great job of understanding what he’s put on film, and having a good feel for how you’re going to attack that so he can lay a trap and watch you walk right into it.” There's even a quote from an SEC coach in there.
