  1. Can hardly find any info on this guy but he's a hell of a lot more interesting than Wang IMO.

  3. Well, ok then. Other than going to the same HS as Latrell Allmond I know nothing at all about this kid.

He closed today on 6’7” James Madison PF Justin McBride! A-Sun 3rd team last year. Here’s to hoping that Pope wins just enough to stay there forever.

  5. That is exactly what you need is for Petrie to play the stretch 4 position alongside Z and the 5 only in Emergency. Alisa Williams is your backup center who you got from Iowa St who is basically Noyan 2.0. The fact Petrie is a 4 who can shoot and not a 5 is exactly why IU got her. IU doesn't need a starting 5 as long as Z is healthy and no starting pure post player is going to come here as long as you have her on roster. The choice was to evict Z into portal or bring her back and pray her health is good. IU chose the latter and you can argue whether that was smart, but no high level pure 5 is a possibility as long as Z is on roster in modern game.

  10. Sidney Fenn was not very highly ranked out of high school. If the team is looking for a lottery ticket big, Zoe Jackson is much more likely.

  12. Maybe one more but main rotation set. At 12 now with almost full roster. C Big Z, Williams, Jackson PF Petrie, Fenn SF Makalusky, Addy SG Lenee, Hare PG Samuels, GiGi You can argue with roster but this is how it was put together and if Z stays healthy team should win 20-22 games and return to NCAA Tourney (Also note some of these combinations and starters can slide around into multiple positions). Your elite frosh wont have to be overworked with the portal rentals who were actually solid p5 starters for most part last year. Key is your 5 star frosh in Addy and GiGi growing into your next cornerstones as we go down the road. Especially with another 5 star top 30 frosh Finley Parker coming in for 2027.

  13. He's really not good, especially in NFL context, but there are people that like his tools *gags* and I could see someone giving up a late pick in the supplemental draft for him. What he did is monumentally stupid, but there are guys with far worse issues that have been taken in the past. Just browsing 2027 picks by team and some teams that might be dumb enough to do it... Browns have 2 5s and 2 7s. Dolphins have 2 5s, a 6, and a 7. Jets have a 5 and 2 6s. Lions as a darkhorse have a 6 and 2 7s. If he goes in the supplemental draft, I'd be floored if someone went higher than a 5th to grab him.

  19. If that’s the case can’t get mad at that one. Clearly prioritized playing time over the best conference and what I’m sure was the best offer for his last year of college. No problem with it.

  23. Givan wouldn't be a terrible late add as development piece. Still doesn't solve the puzzle for a back up big for this, neither does Wang in my opinion. Sayon Keita intrigues me as well, but again, not sure what he gives us for next year. Can't run Sherrell and Samet into the ground by the end of the season. Need depth.

  28. Pete Thamel - NCAA President Charlie Baker told ESPN today that he’s “pretty optimistic” that the new aged-based eligibility proposal will happen. The DI Board of Directors met today and will recommend to not implement this rule retroactively for graduates/exhausted eligibility. “If you’ve used up your eligibility, you’ve used it up,” Baker told ESPN of the tenor of the discussion.

  43. Sherrell > Bidunga. Sherrell is far more skilled, and if I had to choose every time, I’m taking Sherrell without hesitation. Haralson is athletic, but not a strong shooter. I’d rather have Darren Harris and Lindsay—both proven shooters who’ve played on NCAA Tournament teams. Burton is an elite in-state guard. Instead of chasing someone like Juke, who’s unlikely, it makes more sense to prioritize a former Mr. Indiana Basketball and one of the top guards in the portal. He’s a great fit for our system.
