I can't watch with anyone.... at all. I'd be insufferable. Also don't want to be distracted with meaningless dribble about my good friends/families lives during a game. There's a time and place for that but it ain't at game time.

This season IU has thrived in night games….thinking of Indiana State, Illinois, and Purdue…and Ohio State who tried their best to not lose their first game and number one ranking….. I expect an IU win between 3 and 73 points.

A valiant effort but came up a little short at Nebraska. Our team just has such a small margin of error to work with. Iowa (13-2) (4-0), is a team I absolutely despise. The Hawkeyes average 83 ppg with a +21 margin shooting 50% FG and 37% on 3s. They average 43 rpg with a +13 margin and rebounding has been such an Achilles heel for us almost all season. They really move the ball well averaging 21 assists/game but also turn it over 16/game. 3 girls average in double figures led by Ava Heiden at 16.2. Hannah Stuelke and Heiden are their two best rebounders at 8.3 and 7.6. Their 3 point shooters with any volume of shots on the season are Chazadi Wright at 49%, Taylor Stremlow at 43% and Taylor McCabe at 39% so it will be a challenge for us to guard the arc. A lot of professional betters look for "value". They wait till a little before kickoff to try to get the best line they can. If they think Indiana is going to win and believe that people will vote Oregon at the -4.5 to give themselves a Oregon loss at 4 or less points, it will move the line down closer to -3 which the betters who think Indiana will win by more will bet heavy on. That way, they have an extra point as a cushion. Now if IU wins by 4, they win money. A lot of people might think IU is overrated still thinking of the IU of the last several years and not the one that has been shredding teams. They just let their brain believe what their eyes are seeing.

I think that’s exactly how the game will be. I’m noticing just as many people heading there that couldn’t make the Rose Bowl as people that are double dipping. And the non-scientific numbers like the ones from SeatGeek back it up. The only difference from the Rose Bowl is you’ll be able to tell the moment you see inside the stadium.
