johnsoniu Posted October 12, 2024 Posted October 12, 2024 OT in Illinois Watching the Illini D totally collapse in the second half would have been so much more enjoyable had it not been against the Boils mamasa 1 Quote
LIHoosier Posted October 12, 2024 Posted October 12, 2024 Oregon just got their 'Welcome to the B1G' moment. Receiver never caught that, should've been a pick then we revert to a world where replay doesn't exist. southsidehoosier and johnsoniu 2 Quote

TheWatShot Posted October 13, 2024 Posted October 13, 2024 For those who missed it: Purdue was down 27-3 early in the second half at Illinois. Illinois leaves its defense in the locker room, Purdue scores every time it has the ball in the second half. Illinois goes up 40-28 with five minutes left. Purdue scores with a minute and a half to go, recovers an onside kick, scores again 3 plays later and gets a two-point conversion to lead 43-40. Illinois picks up 28 yards on 3rd and 17 to set up a game-tying field goal as time expires. Illinois scores on its first play in OT. Purdue scores on its second play, goes for two, and the QB gets sacked back at the 20 to end the game. MemphisHoosier, thebigweave, J34 and 4 others 7 Quote

LIHoosier Posted October 13, 2024 Posted October 13, 2024 Would have been cooler if it ended with a FG try even if it was 55+ rather than on a brain fart.Sent from my SM-T500 using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

TheWatShot Posted October 13, 2024 Posted October 13, 2024 Didn't think Oregon was going to win after they played it safe and kicked the field goal. Seeing OSU fans try to cope with a loss is always worth it, even if it's only temporary. Especially after all that offseason talk about how Michigan winning it all made them so angry they were going to destroy everyone in their path. lol upperarlington 1 Quote
