All Archie needed to be a big time success were the resources and prestige IU can provide him that a school like Dayton could not. He’s young enough to be able to build quite the dynasty for the next 25-30 years. Obviously it’s great to know we can now get 5 stars at a steady pace, but to be able to COACH them, too?? Heaven

I find the "join the greatest class in Vandy history" thing as a reason to go there pretty hilarious. That's like saying "be the best restaurant on the street" when the only other restaurants are a McDonald's, Burger King, and a gas station hot dog.

Oh, oh.  We might have a new competitor for Romeo... I've been perusing several non-IU boards and see that a notorious (and often ridiculous) poster on the Illinois board is suggesting that they might be able to get involved now that Kansas is out of it.

Added Kansas to his list?  Pretty sure Self watched Romeo when he was in the 9th grade. IU got added late if anybody.

I love Nashville, but no 18 yr old 1 and done is choosing Vandy because of Nashville, unless they just love country music at family restaurants (i.e. the night/bar scene isn’t a factor for someone under 21).
