A lot to like in that ITH article, until I got to the part where he doesn't talk to Phinisee as much as Garland or Grimes.
But ultimately I just don't think that's going to be a big deal.  Those are 5 star guys who played against each other in AAU and All-Star games who keep in touch.  NBA guys have the same camaraderie too and it doesn't always mean they end up playing for the same team.
I just can't see an alpha scorer like Romeo wanting to be in the same back-court as Garland.  DG will get up as many shots as he can because he's used to carrying a team.  He's a scoring point guard.
And as far as waiting to make his decision - he probably just wants to see how each team ends their season.  I mean honestly if IU ended up going 14-17 he'd probably think we aren't nearly ready to be competitive next year.  He doesn't want to play for a loser next year, that's for sure.

That would be odd having an alpha dog and an alpha scorer fighting over shots. Now DM does not think its a big deal that will keep Romeo from vandy. Time will tell what happens but DM could possibly end up eating crow on this one.

Reasonable middle of the road, take. What I did gather is him announcing at McD game seems very, very plausible.

Side note: Alex bozich has been taking some not so subtle jabs on twitter regarding recruiting. Towards LSU and Vandy in particular. Good for him!

I like Bozich, but he always has some hot takes on things. Some are pretty bad, too.

Shittu had knee surgery, either yesterday or today, confused how they're saying he can be back by start of season? Normally ACL injuries take around a year to heal fully.

9 months typically now. Up to a year if other ligaments are involved.

Yeah it seems like it's faster than a year now with modern medicine. Definitely not the career jeopardizer it used to be. OG was ready at the start of the NBA season in mid-October after tearing his in mid-January.

Even if he is back, he will miss all preaseason workouts/practice. Best case he is fully up to speed by conference season.
