Aaron Posted June 22 Posted June 22 Ann Arbor seemingly didn’t care they won a title. My family was on that campus the day after the title game and said you couldn’t tell a championship had been won. Combine that with the lack of enthusiasm I saw by Michigan fans at the national title game and it’s not hard to see why Dusty left. Michigan will need to decide if they are serious and care about basketball or program will continue to see extreme swings. Also for IU fans who wanted Dusty, you have to wonder if being treated like a king in Bloomington rather than an afterthought in Ann Arbor would have kept him around longer or lure of NBA would have been to strong after a couple of years? Edit: Apparently yes - they can. So JP Estrella had IU in his finalists short list. Also appears to be extremely likely that crap-@$$ former Okla St head coach Mike Boynton (who had a 51-75 Big 12 conf record), a current Dusty assistant, will run the team this coming season.
