Gavin Sykes to TCU. He was the sharp shooting wing I was hoping for. All the portal targets on Coach Adragna's portal tracker have gone elsewhere. Looks like all that's left are the potential over production guys which is ok for a couple but would like at least one to compete for rotation minutes. Maybe we get a Euro surprise.

Kyle Evans to NC State. The portal options are dwindling.

Why not us . Buy low still a freshman with long term potential. who doesn't need a shot blocking/lob threat /rim runner. Not sure what he is looking for but give him 10-15 minutes per game, Get Yaak Yaak for your thumper and let this kid run the floor.

This no leaks policy seems to be working. Would be pleasantly surprised with any one of those 5 Really wanted Gavin Sykes for that pure shooter in the guard rotation but expect he wants starter minutes. Several options on the Euro scene: Luigi Suigo Sayon Keita Leonardo Okeke Mouhamed Faye I believe someone on here suggested they would not be available until May or June. So might have to hold a spot until then. Then you have the 5th year possibility and maybe Sam Alexis if he is open to the idea. Who knows when that will be decided? So I am guessing it will be awhile before the roster is finalized which for us fanatics is very frustrating.

Who knows maybe they can sell him on development- going up against Yigitoglu and Sherrell every day in practice and playing in the Big Ten. Then be the focal point of the offense in 2027. Let me start by saying I am not an insider just happened to check Coach Adragna's Hoosier Portal Tracker and see a new name-Kyle Evans-6'10" PF from UC Irvine averaged 12pts and 8 rebounds and will be a senior. Could he be the third rotational big we are looking for? FWIW he is the only big listed. For an athletic defender developmental guy I really like Mouhamed Camara. He redshirted as a freshman last year at Louisville. He is 6'8" plus defender who played in the NBA Africa Academy before Louisville. Raw but tons of potential. Hoping Thomas Carr has a connection and can pull him to Bloomington. For the other spot lets go with a Euro who wants to try college and develop.

Definitely agree on the need for a backup center and could also use a big wing defender/ athlete. I believe someone on here mentioned Euros as possible options for those spots. That would be great because there does not appear to be many portal options left that we could afford. I think we could still use another shooter and really like Gavin Sykes from Long Beach State. Aiden Sherrell today is your day. Come on down and join the Indiana Hoosiers Then keep the ball rolling and get Sebastian Rancik on board. Then get Jake Hall on campus and nail down his commitment and we are good to go. And we would still have 2 scholarships left, wow.

I'd say sell Rancik on the Michigan model with him in the Lindeborg role, Sherrell as Morez Johnson, Samet as Mara and Trent as Will Tchetter Go hard after Jake Hall- he is your shooter and starting 2 guard PG-Burton/Moody SG-Hall/Harris SF-Rancik/Mustaf PF-Sherrell/Trent C-Samet Depth-Karvala/Manhertz Would still have two schollies for whatever Coach and Carr want Lots of options with that group.

I apologize up front for this waiting on commits ramble but it is frustrating to see update after update of us linked with guards and never any contact with bigs. Even Coach Adragna's portal tracker only has 3 or 4 centers listed. Coach Devries has gone through a year of the Big Ten and knows we need size and rebounding and rim protectors. When the portal opened I tried to track all of the big guys that entered and as of today see 18-20 guys that would be work in various combinations because you really need at least 3 for rotation purposes. And you also have young athletic 6'8"/6'9" guys like Adlan Elamin, Elyjah Freeman, Mouhamed Camara , Bryson Tiller that you could add to the mix. The only reason I can think of for this lack of interest is maybe we have a legitimate shot at one of the international bigs. Also does anyone think Chol Machot would be a viable option to pair with Aiden Sherrell?

OK, I'll play along what is this all about? Flying to Belgrade in the middle of portal season. Could we actually be getting an international big? Maybe Luigi Suigo or Lazar Stojkovic? This is interesting would sure like to know more.

Watched the videos of him and to my untrained eye he looks pretty raw. In the Louisville intro video he says he has been playing basketball since he was a young kid so he is not brand new to the sport. He is a great shot blocker, rim runner with some post moves . He actually shot 37.5 percent from three in the NBA Academy developmental league in Senegal. Unfortunately all of the video is from that academy so hard to know how much he has improved with a years worth of coaching at Louisville. I would think Thomas Carr would have a very good idea if he is worth the risk. another possibilty I suppose.

Just dug into him a little and see that North Carolina and Kansas are starting to show interest. I say sign him now and pair him with Hines in the middle. Add this crew to Sisley and one pick any one holdover and the 3 freshmen and lets go.
